Samsung Galaxy S3: How to Uninstall Application using Three Easy Ways

Yes, it is undeniable when we use the Samsung Galaxy SIII we can do a lot of interesting and useful things. Sometimes, it was also make us install a wide range of applications on the phone which will make it feels crowded, you might even find a little space available on your home screen because all the space has been filled by your app icons. If so, then you may need to remove some of them.

How to Uninstall apps?

FIRST WAY

  1. Go to Apps through the Home screen.
  2. Click the small button on the left corner.
  3. After that, the menu screen will open up.
  4. Select Uninstall
  5. Here you can select the application you want to uninstall.
  6. Once you choose one, you will be prompted to confirm the uninstall app.
  7. Click the OK button to uninstall.
  8. Wait until its process is complete.
  9. Done. You have successfully uninstalled the app you want.


SECOND WAY

  1. Through Home screen select Apps-> Settings-> Application Manager.
  2. Here, you can choose which applications you will uninstall.
  3. After you choose one, press on Uninstall.
  4. You will be asked for confirmation to continue the uninstall process.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Wait until the uninstall process is complete.
  7. Done. You have successfully uninstalled the app you want.


THIRD WAY

  1. Through Home screen select Apps-> Play Store.
  2. From the menu choose "My Apps".
  3. Here, you can choose which applications you will uninstall.
  4. After you choose one, press on Uninstall.
  5. You will be asked for confirmation to continue the uninstall process.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Wait until the uninstall process is complete.
  8. Done. You have successfully uninstalled the app you want.

But, for the record you can only uninstall applications that downloaded and installed by yourself, means you can not uninstall pre-installed applications on your phone such as a clock or weather.     After i read on any forum to search a relevant solution to your issue, then I can conclude a few points for you:
    1. You should first delete the cache and the data of the app before you uninstall it because most developers do not always clean up after their apps.
    2. The OS also takes up a little bit space and it was not reported as used space.
    3. Whenever you install the app, this also includes the hidden files and folders. So, you may want to try to use a third-party app such as ES File manager that will be able to report the actual space on your phone and will also allow you to remove hidden files and folders. You can get if free through Play Store.

  3. how about doing multiple app deletions at the same time....

    one click at a time is far to time consuming. I'm thinking of just wiping the phone clean and starting over.... back to days of dos operating system
